How Much Do Portraits Cost?

There is a sitting fee of $85 which is payable at the photo session. All photos taken are loaded onto my website in a password protected area where they can be viewed and prints ordered.

When Can Your Portraits be Taken?

Portraits can be taken at anytime during the week or weekend. The best time for outdoor photos is in the morning up to about 10am and in the afternoon after 3pm.

Where Can Your Portraits be Taken?

This is largely up to your preference. The photos can be taken at your home or office, a local park or beach, my studio, or a combination of these.
Parks are very popular as we have plenty of settings, good lighting and people seem more relaxed.

What happens at a Portrait Session?

The average time for a session is about one to one and a half hours. I use a high quality digital camera and take lots of photos (50 to 100) in different settings and different combinations of people to make sure you have a good choose of photos.
I prefer not to dictate what clothes people should wear for the session as I feel that is an important way they express themselves. If you are not too sure then it is best to keep things simple or bring a couple outfits to change into.

When are the Photos Ready for Ordering?

Within a weeks of the session, the previews are loaded into a password protected area of my website where you and others you share the password with, can view and order prints. The preview album is normally ready one to two weeks after the session.

How are Prints Ordered and Paid for?

Prints can be ordered over the phone, by post, by email or online through my website. All photos can be printed in colour or black and white on a variety of materials. After about one to two weeks the prints are ready for you to pick up or be posted to you. Payment can be make by cash, cheque or bank transfer (EFT).
Individual photos can be digitally edited to open eyes, swap faces or make general improvements, usually at no extra cost.
